Refund policy

1. Before payments open

CityWar currently processes no payments. Pressing “I would pay ₹29” is an expression of interest only, so there is no charge to refund and no City Cheer is issued.

2. Digital fulfilment

Once payments open, a successful City Cheer purchase will be fulfilled digitally by adding one Cheer to the selected city's tally and issuing supporter content. Because fulfilment is digital and begins after verified payment, a correctly fulfilled City Cheer may be non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

3. When we will review a refund

We will review requests involving:

• A duplicate charge for the same intended purchase.
• A payment shown as successful without the promised digital fulfilment.
• An incorrect amount charged.
• A transaction that failed but was nevertheless debited and not automatically reversed.

4. How to request help

Email hello@citywar.in with the payment provider, transaction reference, purchase date, selected city, and a short description. Do not send card numbers, UPI PINs, passwords, or one-time passcodes.

5. Processing

Approved refunds will be sent through the original payment method where practical. Timing can depend on the payment provider and your bank. The provider's terms may also apply.
